I only got to have you as my grandma for 14 years. There was never a day that you didn't pray for us, or tell us you loved us. Even well into your 80s and early 90s, you made the trip regularly to Ohio to see us. I will never forget your Christian example, or the love and kindness you showed to everyone. So many will miss you, but those of us who knew you best will carry a piece of you with us forever. I will still see you in our garden, and remember getting recipes from you. Thankfully, we live back at home now and can be closer to you. I gained you by marriage, but I never felt like anything less than your granddaughter. We love and miss you so much, but I am happy knowing you are finally with the Lord you served so well.

To Aunt Pearl's loved ones: I'm terribly sorry for your loss. Though I never had the chance to meet Pearl in person, I'm forever grateful for her wit and thoughtfulness. She never forgot a birthday or special occasion. Her spirit and warmth will live on in the cards and letters I've kept from her.
Thanks for everything, Pearl. Sleep well. Tell Ruth and Burl "hello" for us.

Mary & Phil, we are deeply saddened by your loss of such a
beautiful spirited lady. We reflect upon our memories of room
visits at Sundale when we visited Dorothy. She was such a
delight to hold a conversation with & we were truly blessed to
have spent time with her. We miss them both very much &
know they are angels on our shoulders now. I personally remember
all the holiday dinners at the farm with all the Wolfe family.
Everyone made a contribution to the dinner & what a feast it
was. Our deepest sympathy in your loss & ours of Pearl.
She truly was a gem - like her name.

Aunt Pearl will be missed by her loved ones out west. I'm so thankful for her love and presence in my life. I will forever remember her smile, laugh and hugs. My daughter, Lila Pearl, carries her name and I know she has a guardian angel now.

Mary, Phil and family: Please know that Larry and I are holding you all in our hearts and we are praying that your many wonderful memories will bring you a smile and some comfort. Aunt Pearl was and will always be such an important part of my life. After the death of my mother, in my heart, I considered her my second mom. God be with you and give you peace today and in the days ahead.
Aunt Pearl: I will miss your many notes and cards over the years and I will miss our telephone conversations. Did you know that when you spoke, I heard my mother's voice? I'll miss your laughter and sense of humor, and I will miss the many ways you always showed me and my family how much you loved us. There is surely a joyful family reunion in Heaven now that you have arrived!
