I am very proud of David. But what can you expect from a perfect classmate (1965).
This hits home--hard.

I was so sorry to learn of Dave's passing, and regret that I only learned of his funeral arrangements last Monday, well after service concluded.
Dave was a great guy who worked hard and took his work seriously. At the same time, he had a tremendous sense of priorities in life and never got wrapped around the axle about anything. I never knew about Dave's military record but then, it would have been out of place for him to tell co-workers about it. That would not have been his way.
Dave Tenney was a pleasure to work with at Booz Allen, and to his family, I'm sorry for your loss. We'll all miss him!

Our thoughts are with Dave's family especially Jamie and Chris Dave's Sons and all who loved him here in England. He was a man with a big heart and a good friend to us and our family over the years and will be missed terribly. When I first met Dave back in 1966 he was a young Airman full of life and an amazing sense of humour and that is how I will remember him. Our children Ronald, Laura and Simon who is Dave's Godson will always remember him with great affection.
Rest in Peace Dave........Gillian, Phillip, Ronald, Laura & Simon

Dave was brave, gentle, generous with his time, a family man he was respected in this country (England) both in his work, contacts with English military and ordinary people. He was a wonderful ambassador for his country. He will be sorely missed in England. After his heroic struggle with his illness may he rest in peace. It is a comfort to know that he had the love and care of Charlotte through it all. Our thoughts are with you at this sad time.

Bang the drum loudly! As one end of the MHS Mohican Marching Band Drumline I had the pleasure of being on the other end with Dave in the 1964 edition that marched in the Macy's Day Parade in 1963. As the two bass drummers we were known to move people back as we came down High Street from curb to curb in many parades. I enjoyed his friendship, his spirit, his work ethic and his sense of humor. Although our paths have not crossed in over 50 years, I remember Dave fondly and know he will be missed by many.

To the family of David Boyd Tenney:
I just wanted to extend my deepest condolences and sympathies to you for your loss.
Not enough people reach out to extend them in the loss of a Veteran....who served this country with Pride. I have a lot of military people in my family. And while I don't know you or David.....I want to say Thank you for your Service, and thank you to the family who put up with his military career when it was going on. That takes a lot to serve the military and is hard on the family. So thank you and Thank you David....I hope and pray you are with God and out of pain now. Thank you for making a difference in this world.
