Although I had never met Sandra, I had spoken to her several times on the phone as a business associate. She had a very kind voice and was very courteous. I enjoyed speaking with her. The staff of Hutson Funeral Home sends their condolences to her family.

I have known Sandy for around 40 years,,Her and Gerald rented a trailor to me and Clifford in Maidsville when our boys were little.They always helped us any way they could.We bought insurance from her when she worked there and I just can't tell you how helpful she was to me and my whole family working at Hastings,especially when I lost Clifford. Just a few months ago I went to her to see if she could get me a marker for his grave from the military.Even after almost 5 years,she managed to get it for me,I was so thankful for that.She will be missed by many,I am sure she made memories like this for countless families.My prayers are with your family as well as her Hastings family to help you all through these next few days

To Sandy's Family and the Staff at Hastings,
You have my deepest condolence in the loss of Sandy. While I only knew her on a professional level, she assisted my family and me during the loss of both my parents. She was patient and extremely pleasant to work with, always willing to take time for me when I needed. Sandy made what was a very difficult time much easier to handle.
