Bill's family,
please accept my heartfelt condolence on Bill's passing. I remember Bill as a personable individual, always with a smile and warm greeting. I know he will be sorely missed by all who loved him as well as all of the people he knew.

I have great memories of Bill as a man who exemplified what it meant to be a true fraternity brother. I was glad I was able to spend some time with Bill in Morgantown at the Mountaineer games the last couple of years.

To Bill's family,
Please know how highly people whom he touched over the years felt about him. As one of his fraternity brothers who had seen him only a limited number of times since those days, I will always remember him as a man who would do anything to help a friend in need. There are too few of those in the world.
Please know our prayers are with you while you adjust to his absence.
As a Sigma Nu fraternity member of Bill's, I'll always remember his notable and famous smile. With that smile on occasion, also came a memorable, mischievous twinkle in his eye. He was a great Brother and loved having fun.

Bill was a wonderful friend to me and my family for over 30 years. My father Bob Taft and he enjoyed a lot of good times and many jokes. I will miss Bill along with many others. He was a fine man, friend and wonderful father and husband to Candy. Prayers for Jonathan and Josh who were the light of his life along with his grandchildren. Great Guy!
