My parents Donald and Karen DeMart wanted Chuck and Nancy, their neighbors and good friends on Whistlestop Road in Charlotte, to be my godparents. We spent so many special occasions together... birthdays, holidays, dinners. I was so blessed to have them in my wedding and, as godparents. I am truly sad that I have missed opportunities to visit with Chuck; he was always so kind to me and funny. I will miss you Chuck. I pray for healing andc comfort for my godmother Nancy and for her to feel all of our collective love and support right now.
