I was so shocked and saddened to hear of "Kitty's" passing. She is my oldest friend. When I took her to the doctor before her surgery in August, I had no idea that would be the last time we would spend together. My life has been blessed by her friendship in so many ways. We shared so much in our 60 year friendship. My prayers for Bob and for her dear children and grand/great grand children. She loved you so very much. I pray God's comfort and peace to surround you at this difficult time. Love, Joyce Calandrelli Adkinson

I knew Carol for many years through work as a partner agency with HRDF. She was also a friend who always bought girl scout cookies from my daughter. What a wonderful lady, and what a sad, sad day it is today. She will be greatly missed by the disability community for all her hard work, and by her friends and family, including ours. Our many condolences to her husband and family.

Bob and family,
I have been deeply upset to learn of Carol's passing. I considered her a friend and a favorite neighbor. I will deeply miss chatting with her on her frequent walks with Claudia. Please know Bob that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help you through this most difficult time....Karen and Amy Zeller, Hoffman Ave.

I first met Carolyn - Kitty - when I moved to Wiles Hill for second grade in 1953. Even though I moved away, we stayed in touch both personally and professionally over the years. In 2015, she brought together members of our sixth-grade class to tour the Wiles Hill Grade School. During the last two years, she has been a surprise joy in my life. Her commitment to our efforts to restore the memories of a place dear to those who attended over the 89 years was unstoppable.
Kitty was one of my best friends in grade school and holds a special place in my heart. Her loss will be felt by family, friends, the church, and the community. It has been an honor to know her. She now goes with God to a peaceful place.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Carolyn. She was such a beautiful person inside and out. Many will miss her smiling face. I know she is rejoicing as she enters heaven and is sitting down with the King of Kings and Lord of Lords to embrace his beauty. No more sickness no more pain Carolyn as you dance on streets of glory. One day we will see you my friend. Barb Dunn
