Obituary of Carolyn Sue Feathers

Carolyn Sue Feathers, 70, of Hoffman Ave., Morgantown, went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 6th at her residence after a brief illness.  She was a woman of faith.  She was born August 30, 1947 in Preston County, a daughter of the late William Clyne McMillen, Roy W. Williams, and Ruth Brown Williams.

She was a longtime member of the Restoration Church International (MFC), where she was an active member of Women of Witness and managed the church bookstore.  She was also on the Wiles Hill School Restoration Board and worked for over 42 years as a director at the Human Resource Development Foundation.

She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Pastor Bob Feathers; children, Kim Owens of Shinnston, David A. Arnold and his wife Ileana Arnold of Colorado Springs CO, and William R. Feathers of Colorado Springs, CO; seven grandchildren; and three great grandchildren; brothers, William McMillen and his wife Janet and Tim Williams and his wife Cindy.  She is also survived by her dog, Claudia Joy and her cat, Clarice.

Friends and family will be received at the Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown on Thursday, November 9th from 4-8 PM and again on Friday, November 10th from 10 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11 AM with Pastors Rena & Apostle Joe Perozich and Pastor Bob Feathers.  Interment will take place at Maplewood Cemetery in Kingwood.
