I had the pleasure of knowing Scottie when she worked as a school nurse. I, too, was working as a school nurse at that time. She would fill in for me from time to time. We would have two nurses at the school on grandparents day. She and I had a lovely time staffing the clinic and getting to know one another. She was smart, gracious, loving, calm and an easy person to be with. She lovingly spoke of her family and I introduced her to Ken Covers, the Atlanta real estate agent that helped sell her Virginia Highlands home. Rest In Peace, dear one!
