I am so very sorry to hear of Kathy’s sudden passing. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this most difficult time. I am sorry that I can not be there to offer my support. I know all too well the unbearable pain one goes through losing a sister or the unthinkable loss of a mother losing her daughter. The only comfort is knowing she is now in heaven with her father. I am so sorry for your loss. We have been around Kathy for 8.5 years at St. Francis and she has watch our son grow up from K-current 8th grader. She was always so nice and had a smile on her face when we saw her. She always came to see our dogs in the pick-up line. I will truly miss her presence at school.

Kathy had a kind and and tender warmth that welcomed and brightened those around her. I worked with Kathy at St. Francis and very time I saw her, even if it was the tenth time we passed each other in the hallways that day, she would share a big smile and warm greeting. She was calm, patient, emphatic and loving to every child and even her coworkers. I cannot fathom the grief her family is experiencing and I am sending up my prayers to Kathy in her journey, and her family and friends here on earth grappling with her loss. I will always remember her beautiful smile and kind heart.❤️

Our family is deeply saddened by the loss of Mrs. Evanto. She worked with our daughter, Morgan, at St. Francis for the last 6 years helping with tutoring and reading. We cared very much for her, she was such a wonderful, loving person who loved our daughter very much. Eternal rest grant to her, O Lord, and may your perpetual light shine upon her. Our daughter said that Kathy had recently visited the school this semester and given her a huge hug. She touched our daughter's life in such a positive way, and we are forever grateful.
