Jack has been a precious member of our Assumption church family, and was very gentle with kids. Our son, now eighteen, still remembers Jack's Donald Duck impersonations. When needed, Jack was a Handyman, and Jack's device to cut baklava is still used.
Jack was always ready to say kind words to anyone, and every Sunday, Jack would ask me, "When will you drive next week?" and reminded me to "be careful on the road."
Jack showed me how to cut a board and leave no splinters, unlock a frozen lock, unclog a clogged fuel pump, or stop a basement overflow with a water pump.
Last Christmas, when we visited Jack, he said he wanted to be with Mary, and God rejoined Jack with Mary.
"For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord's." Romans 14:8
Thank you, Jack. You will stay forever in our hearts.
